Policies and Procedures
While we understand that life happens, there are a few policies and procedures put into place to help ensure that daily operations run smoothly.
Late Policy/Cancellations
In the event that you are late to your appointment, communication with the salon is vital. Please reach out via call or text as soon as you realize you may be late.
HoneyHair operates on a very tightly booked schedule, and arriving late may affect other appointments. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you will likely have to reschedule to the next available appointment.
Life happens, and last-minute cancellations occur. We respectfully ask for at least 24-hour notice when canceling an appointment.
Cancellations may be made online at any time. If you cancel via message, text, or phone call, your appointment is not canceled until you have received confirmation. Replying to a reminder text is not a means of canceling.
While Honey Hair does not charge a cancellation fee, repeat last-minute cancellations will result in charging a nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit. The deposit will be 50% of the service booked, and booking will not be finalized until the deposit is received. The deposit will be applied to the total price of the appointment, and will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Charging of a deposit will be on a case by case basis during your appointment.
Appointment No-Shows
Honey Hair has a strict zero-tolerance policy for no-show appointments. If you intend on missing an appointment and do not properly communicate beforehand, you will not be allowed to rebook any future appointments. We respect your time, so we expect the same respect in return.
Refunds
Our goal at Honey Hair is that you’ll leave with hair you’re obsessed with. If you’re not completely satisfied with the service you have received, we are more than happy to correct the issue. Please reach out within 7 days of your original service to discuss booking an adjustment appointment.
Adjustment appointments are just that, an adjustment. If your inspiration photos have changed or you have changed your mind, it is considered a regular, full-price appointment. It is up to the discretion of the stylist to determine what is considered an adjustment
Corrective appointments do not qualify for adjustment appointments.
Chemical Services
Chemical services can only be guaranteed when clients follow proper aftercare.
At-Home Maintenance| Proper product usage at home is vital to chemical aftercare. Your stylist will recommend a customized array of products for purchase at the end of your appointment. Chemical services, including color and Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatments, can only be guaranteed when using the recommended products purchased at Honey Hair.
Proper Maintenance| Following proper maintenance suggestions is vital to chemical upkeep. Failure to follow suggested maintenance may result in corrective color pricing ($100/hour) or additional product costs. Any scalp lightening appointments MUST follow the recommended maintenance timeline, or the service will be refused.
Color Corrections| Color corrections are never a guarantee that your goal will be achievable. Communication during your consultation is vital. The amount of time/appointments needed, the end result, and the condition of your hair are never guaranteed in a corrective appointment.
Extensions
The quality of your hair extensions can only be guaranteed when purchased directly through Honey Hair. We use high-quality, 100% Human Remy Hair.
We are more than happy to install hair you have purchased yourself, however, we are not responsible for any issues that may arise after installation.
Extensions must be touched up on a regular basis. Your stylist will recommend a maintenance timeline at your consultation appointment. Failure to follow the recommended timeline may result in breakage/hair loss, higher maintenance pricing, or refusal of service.
